While there may be more imposing mountains, Kronplatz is undoubtedly the best place to spend a fantastic skiing holiday. With around 120 kilometres of slopes and 31 lifts, the 2,275 m high local mountain of Bruneck is simply the skiing mountain for discerning skiers and snowboarders. Those who love these sports will enjoy the long valley descents in 3 directions and the sunny, spacious plateau with an impressive 360° panoramic view at the summit.

Freeriders and freestylers gather at the new Kronplatz Snowpark, which is equipped with rails, boxes and kickers. Several parks for kids also ensure variety and fun for children learning to ski, complemented by the professional programmes run by the ski schools. Numerous trained ski instructors are available to teach you how to ski. Of course, the facilities are regularly maintained and the slopes are groomed daily. With 100% artificial snow coverage when needed, Kronplatz boasts the highest quality and safety on its slopes.

1) A multitude of mountain chalets invite you to take a break, and it is not uncommon to lose track of time while enjoying delicious farmhouse bread, a typical South Tyrolean dish and traditional mountain melodies so that you end up having to sledge down to the valley by moonlight.

2) On the summit, there are also two museums that are open in winter – the LUMEN Museum of Mountain Photography and MMM Corones, one of the six Messner Mountain Museums, where everything revolves around traditional alpinism.

3) On the Kronplatz, there is a hire service where you can find all the necessary equipment for every winter sport. Discounts are offered for families and children. You can find the website and online reservation link here.
