Cross Country Skiing on the Kronplatz
Tobogganing at the Kronplatz
Everyone, be they young or old, can now enjoy tobogganing on a new,
artificial snow-covered, 1.6 km long, 10 metre wide toboggan track at
the valley station. The track covers a total descent of 150 m. The climb
to the top is by cable car. “Korer Express” (day or multi-use ticket);
the toboggan run, separate from the ski area or from the slopes, is open
from 9 am to 5 pm.
Ski- and Snowshoeing Tours
Our mountains are also ideal for ski and snowshoeing tours. Let yourself
be led by the experienced Alpine Ski and Mountaineering School
Pustertal (Alpinschule Pustertal) – whether you are beginner or want to
try out the virgin powder snow or firn. The frontier crossing from the
Gsiesertal valley to Villgraten or from the Rasen in Antholzertal valley
to the Defreggental valley is certainly a spectacular experience.
